you could do worse than check out the Marshall MG15MSII.

It is a solid state amp however it doesn't sound bad.

It is a two channel amp but lacks a reverb/channel foot switch.

I counter this with an OD-20 stomp box /RV5 stomp box if I need to change channel with my feet.

The only other draw back is the emulated line out for recording which is a long way form brilliant. It does work just takes quite a bit of tweaking !

However for 270 UDS new it has a lot of bang for your buck and sounds pretty good. It is not a TSL100 or a Soldano however at a 10th of the price that is not surprising !
