I am probably answering my own questions is asking the, but I am building a Strat and need to decide whether to go tremelo bridge or fixed bridge.

My considerations:

I never used the tremolo on the Strat Squier -- partly because I never developed a good technique and partly because it was so easy to go out of tuen, i was a fraid to touch!

I am fastidious about tuning and I don't want to be fiddling with tuning all the time.

All ths might lead my easily to go with a fixed bridge, but I want a sanity check on whether it would be very unStrat-like to have a fixed bridge. I do not plan to ever sell the guitar to resale is not an issue.
Have tremolos improved to the point where they go not go out of tune? as far as teh fixed bridges, I am looking at a hipshop.
