I'm really diggin' this idea. I'd love to actually meat you all. Hopefully if we actually get this thing organized, I will still have some vacation time. If I do, count me in for whenever and wherever it is. :D

The idea is always awesome. Meeting a guitar dude you met online in real life has gotta be really awesome, considering that although you know these people ( I know where Lordathestrings works, I know what Dr. Simon's PhD thesis was about, I know so and so's parents are divorced, Lordatherings has Azrael's favourite axe on his desktop, etc etc) we really don't know each other, and to get the chance would be really cool. Which is why no matter what he says I'll never forgiver Eggman. The dude came to Nairobi (I live 42km away) and couldn't holler. Can you imagine going to Calgary and not letting Lorda know you're in the hood? Or going to Chelsea and not waving at Raskolnikov? After all those WMD arguments? And who wouldn't want to see the dragon if they were in the alpha neighbourhood of Azrael?

First off, Azrael. Is your city Krems in Steiermark, or is it the Krems an der Donau in Niederosterreich. I have you down as the latter so if it's not the right city then this will change things a bit but not much.

It moved the location to Galena, Illinois, which is a town located on the Mississipi River also it's where Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin all meet up. I don't know if there's one that has aerial shots the world over. I get all my shots from microsoft's terraserver.


So I've gotten gtgtg v1.1 all polished up and ready to go for y'all to play around with. You can check
the officiall gtgtg page , or download the executable packaged directly by clicking here.

Just run gtgtg.exe from the folder it'll be in when you unzip the file. By default I have it load up the north american list (nam.loc), the file master.loc contains everyone, and the file euraf.loc contains members from europe and africa (so far only kingdavid and Azrael). Enjoy!

P.S. If you have problems running the program let me know, I'd like to have some feedback on what you guys think of it. Peace Out.

Woohoo!!! Down from 570 to 265 miles away!!! That's like, a 3.5 hour drive for me; almost nothing.

Yup, it's up to Green Lane so far but I'm still in the boonies :rolleyes:
Unreal how things are changing around here tho. Just a few years ago Green Lane was a dirt road with a one lane bridge. Now it's a 4 lane highway with a new Go station.
