rakeing & pick slides

can some one please explain the technique of rakeing, and pick sliding

Just slide the side of the pick down the strings....It works best on the top 3 strings since they are wound. Don't push down so hard that the strings starts hitting the frets, well, just experiment witht that to see what sounds best to you.

Oh yeah, and for raking, mute the srings with your Left hand (assuming your a right handed player) and strum the strings.
