To my ear HFH sound is all volume and no character, but if you go for Michael Angelo tone and playing, that's exactly what you need. Stick a booster and a distortion after it and the lightest tap will become the heaviest pick. However, I'd look for something a tad more subtle for neck and use HFH on the bridge.
