friedman !

does anyone even know who the hell im talkin about when i say the name marty friedman ? anyways i think hes a GREAT guitar player but for some reason. (unknown to me) he was in meggadeath and their music sucked ! and was way to simple. do u know if he was in ANY other bands ? or if he is gone solo?

i believe that he is doing solo stuff, as well as the guitar parts for a lot of Japanese pop songs.

he also had a solo album out earlier this year called 'music for speeding' or something like that.

marty friedman was part of a band called capaphony im not sure how it's spelled but he played along with formerguitarist Jason Becker whom cannot play anymore due to an extremly limiting diease. marty has also one album that i know of from back in the day it's called dragon's kiss awsom record but expensive um thats about all i know and he is a great guitarist but he was certainly too good for megadeth in my opinion im glad he left them.

He Also played Guitar on a Turniquet Album and Megadeth, duh lol

Cacophany, I think, and yeah, now he does solo work... And... I thought Megadeth was a pretty good band. He made a solo cd called "True Obsessions", and then just released "Music For Speeding". Then the last I heard was that he was on tour in Europe. Check out his site, there might be more news there.

I heard Marty wanted to pursue pop music, which is why he left Megadeth. I thought he was awesome in Megadeth.

Marty Friedman has always been on my top 10.
He became the guitar hero for many of my friends and students through me , although I'm more Vaiish . :rolleyes:

Marty Freidman is an amazing guitarist. I am not a huge megadeth fan ( im more for metallica) but marty kicks ass. He quit megadeth to go popish i beleive.... although he has a solo album out its titled somthing like music for speeding or something along those lines. He is a tight player.
