Sorry I don't play slide. I would give you something but I don't really know anything. I did buy a magazine that has some slide licks in it, but it's at my real house (I'm away for a small vacation). I'll post some up once I have the mag.

I can play slide a little, though I'm not good at it. Two things that make it a hundred times easier is to raise the action on the guitar (most players have a guitar set to the side with the action raised for playing slide on) and tune to an open tuning. If your not familiar with open tunings, it's basically tuning your guitar to a chord (open C would be tuning your guitar to where when you strum the guitar without any fingers on the fret's, your strumming a C chord.)

Look for live Shawn Lane videos. He does a hell lot of sliding, and you might be able to figure out how he does by looking at those videos?.. hmm.. :D

Shawn Lane was a guitar genius, but I've never heard him play slide guitar before... It's quite possible that he has, as I'm not familiar with his entire library of songs.
Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.
