Part of the problem is doing the vocals 3000 miles away. He's in England and my female vocalist is in California.
It's hard to assemble a bunch of takes.

They're talent is definitely worth stickin with tho..... when I hear this song by Derek that was praised by Rolling Stone I was convinced that he'd be capable of way more in the future...

I pretty much convinced myself that with a little more experience and studio time he could be a hell of a musician. He does all the music himself and we're working together to write some new songs. I'm redoing the bed tracks for this one ...soon as I get a chance
