need distortion

I was wondering what kind of distortioner I need to kind of make my
guitar talk you know that kind that sounds like a voice I'v herd peter framton
use it and GNR and alot of other artists. see I'v ben playing guitar for about
a year and pretty poor so make shur I get the right one

Well, Frampton used some distortion, but the "talking" you're referring to is produced using a talkbox, like this one, but about 1000 times more expensive.

The Slash tone you're probably thinking of is amp distortion combined with a slow wah.

exept my guitar, amp, and a slider and me and some of my freainds
are put together a band wich I know will be awsom so I want to get some
