Well after 20 years of abuse, my finger ends still hurt. OK so I have played about 6-8 hrs this weekend but they still hurt !!

I find that still happens when I play too much electric then switch to an intense acoustic session.

You guys should get robotic arm replacements. I had my left arm replaced 7 months ago, and now I don't have to worry about my finger tips. I also got the option where they install a little red button that makes the fingers move really fast, all i have to do is move the hand around over the fretboard and it sounds like i can kick satch's butt. its cool.

You should mix up some gnarly polypeptide chain in your lab that goes on the fingertips of the aching guitarist. Who knows, you could make a buck or two...
Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.
