This is going to be hard to explain but it's worth a shot: Do you know that sound when people are playing guitar they do somethin' like a single strum and then it'll sound like it's sliding down the fretboard and then it'll just be muted or something. I've tried doing it but it sounds like crud.
Do you have any idea to what I'm talking about? If you can please help it's in a song I'm playing but I can't figure out how to do it.

Thanks in advance :D

It sounds like you're talking about an artifical harmonic/pinch harmonic. There are plently on tricks on how to do that on this site with MP3 examples. What song do you know that has what you're talking about, maybe then I can be more specific.

I seriously doubt that you would of heard of it. It's by group called "Luna Halo" and the song is called "complacent"
it's at the very end of the song like the last 20 secs.

And I don't think it's natural/pinch harmonics, and come to think of it it doesn't sound muted, the chord will just be strummed and then it'll sound like it's sliding down then it will stop. DId that help a little more?

Well then, I haven't heard the song, but it sounds like it could be a whammy pedal, if he/she isn't actually just sliding down the fretboard. The whammy pedal changes the pitch of notes up to a couple octaves up or down.

A whammy pedal? You must be thinking of a pitch-shifter.

Could it be a Floyd Rose Tremolo? you can play a chord and drop it almost out of existence with one of those!
