Since skynyrd is southern rock, it's definitely got country elements in there. And since very many country techniques, riffs, licks and backbeats were also used by rockabilly folk, I wouldn't be surprised if you see lots of rockabilly licks in their songs. I don't really play much skynyrd so.....
