What do you guys think is the best place to sell your gear? Is it someplace like Daddy's Junky Music, or guitar Center? Or would it be like a local music shop (that's pretty small)?

Or do you think it's better to go Ebay or some online source?

I have to solidbodies I'm selling in order to upgrade. Looking for someplace to give me a deal.

BTW, do Daddy's or Guitar Center give store credit? Or Cash?
There are only two important things in life - There's music and theres girls, not necessarily in that order....

eBay.

Don't sell to idiots and overcharge of shipping.

It is faster and doesn't charge 25% commission like all the guitar shops round Iowa city !

Have you considered the local newspapers? Some local rags charge a low fee or no fee for ads, I've always sold stuff that way...........

Iowa city? I wasn't aware there were any other guitarists from Iowa here.

Depends on if you're comfortable using ebay. Ebay does have some big advantages, but really messed up incidents can happen when using it.

don't sell anything to a guitar store, they will give you less than its worth so they can make profit from it (obviously). put it in the news paper or on ebay
