Slipknot effects

hey does any one know what the effect settings are in slipknot for the songs my plague, and the heretic anthem, i wanted to know treble bass and middle and distortion or whateva u need.....thanx.....l8a

Slipknot is dropped B, if I remember right. As for amp settings just get it as muddy as you can, bang on the strings with your car keys, and go "BLUAGHHH!" into the mike.

I would guess something like bass:8 mids:3 treble:4 through any generic "modern gain" effect.

thanx dude, ill hafta try it out, as for the tunin theres alotta ways ive seen it done dropped a dropped b i think ive even seen dropped c for it but i think mick and james have 2 different tunings, maybe maybe not u neva can tell with them, theyre a kick ass band, i wanna get a band goin, im a decent guitar player and i can pick songs up really without much of a problem so if theres anyone in the area of scranton pa wantin to start a band where we can go as nuts as possible lemme kno....l8a

then for your settings, choose a marshall valve like distortion on you muti-fx, like a modern hi-gain amp model, dont worry if you dont have multi-fx or amp modeller just use these setting on your amp & if they dont sound right just play with them subtley they shall be fairly close

gain - 8
treble - 8
mid - 4
bass - 8
reverb - 0

this is the deffinite setting total guitar used to recreate duality in their latest mag, so i guess they be pretty similar to the songs you want to play
