I've grown my nails long for classical and have since found that my two-hand tapping has turned to garbage. It sounds horible now and I was quite good at it before....do any of you have long nails on yur pick hand and are still able to tap well? If so how?

1st off it sounds like you have grown your nails a little to long = \
ive gotten to where if i everhave to tap [cause i have to do tap harmonics] Try and you the pad of you finger = D if that doesnt work try trimming you nails a bit :D

I agree...a common mistake is that people grow there nails to long for classical guitar..make sure you file your nails into shape too..its never bothered me

You could tap using the edge of your pick.
