effects on a crate gfx

how can u get a crate gfx to have a great medal sound?rock?& blues?(with the built in effects & override)i just bought a gfx & cant figure out any good sounds so im looking for a little help.

*You bought an amp and can't get any good sounds out of it ? .....Uhmmmmm, OOOOOHHHH KAAAAYYYYY :D.........Seriously, didn't you try the amp out before ya bought it ? ALSO, What kind of axe are you using ?

i play a ibanez GiO serious w/2 singles & 1 humbucker.i playd the amp before i got it but i only playd it clean thats wut i mostly play.now im tryin to find sum good sounds tho!

*turn the overdrive gain up to 2/3 to 3/4, the Bass up to 3/4, the mid down to 1/4, the treble up to 5/8 and the reverb up to 1/2....Now, crank the volume up above 1/4 but below 1/2 and see what happens....You should be able to get the amp to "breath" a little with these settings...The bass will give ya a little balls, the mid will give you a little compression and, depending on your bridge pick-up, the treble will give you a little "shine".....The reverb will give you a little depth......Just a suggestion :D
