I thought it was pretty rockin', neat fx and kind of a 70's metal deal. It was sorta acid rock, as in high on acid. But cool.

that's really good. It would would be really cool with a drums, even just a loop.
You are also getting a lot of noise on at least one of the guitar tracks. I reccomend using noise reduction (does soundforge have that? probably) or maybe turning your monitor off when you record would get rid of some of that noise.

Thanks for the comments!

George, I've never heard of acid rock what bands do this style?

Julian, I have no skill on the drums and no drum machine if you have one and you wanted to add some I'd love to hear that because I always wanted a drum beat on that song.

I use cool edit pro, which comes complete with downloadable royalty free drum tracks from www.loopology.com. Also, I can make drum tracks in Fruityloops, which is software for creating electronic music.

If you don't want to bother with that, there are plenty of other sites where you can just download looping wav drum loops that you can record over. just search for them!

Here is a link to what acid rock is http://www.music.vt.edu/musicdictionary/texta/AcidRock.html

Here's another one that better explains it and gives you some examples http://www.mp3.com/Acid-Rock/genre/451/subgenre.html

Not that I'm into it or anything, i just did a little research in school on different types of rock and where they came from.
