the stock PODxt isnt' that great for a very hard and heavy sound, but they have some add-ons you can buy for it. 18 more high-gain models and 18-classic models. the add-ons are $50 more each though. I got rid of my xt a while back because i just couldn't get the sounds I was looking for. Don't get me wrong, it had some great tones hidden in it, just not quite what I was looking for. The new amp models and the new post eq they added might be worth it though.
