We have been going over our data transfer limits these days. There are about 6000 visitors per day now, and they download so many files that my ISP is charging me extra.
One of the big problems is that some people download the entire site instead of just what they need right now. That is really a waste of time, there is way too much on Guitar Tricks for one person to look at. Besides, it costs me personally $5 or $10 every time somebody does this.
I have just instituted some fancy programming to prevent people from downloading a lot of files at once. Let me know if this stuff gets in the way of your usual browsing.

I think i noticed that sunday night, i believe it 'twere. It told me "i had exceeded my file limit for today and come back tommorow." Is that the change?

that is the one. i tweaked it today per schmange's request. it shouldn't tell you that today unless you really do download a bunch of files.

It's a shame it's had to come to that, but whatever it takes I guess. Out of interest, is there a specific limit, such as 100 files and if so, what is it? Or does it just detect large amounts of transfers? Just curious.
Don't worry too much about me, ignore me long enough and I'll go away.
