Hey everyone, i got a new soundboard for my future band and i have some questions about it because the manual is confusing.

1) Im am confused about the knobs that are under the category of AUX.
2) I am not sure if i will need an equalizer for my PA and even how i would set it up if i got one. My sound board is here
3)what type of cables will i need to run things to it and from it, i know the difference in mic cables and normal but what type run to the power amp.
4) I am confused about signal processors. Does each signal processor only work for one channel on the board? I mean like a mic preamp, is that only for one channel. Because i know i will need to get (some) vocal processor and i am curious if they work for all channels if needed.

Please answer all of these if possible. I am sure i have forgotten some but i will post them later on this post. thanks
Mike ;)

1) AUX stands for auxilary inputs/outputs... kind of like an effects loop in a guitar amp.
2) If you need extra EQ'ing on the instruments you run through it, you will need EQ's; if you want to EQ to compensate for the acoustic environment you're playing in, you'll need an EQ...
3) There's two kinds of cables you'll use, balanced and unbalanced. For anything BUT line inputs, you'll probably want to use balanced cables.
4) An FX processor like a voice processor will work on as many channels as the unit is designed for, usually only one. You can always choose to group a bunch of tracks and send them through an FX processor together... but this makes you lose a lot of control over each seperate track.(in some cases this IS a very viable options though)
