For stronger tension you don't necessarily need to change the springs , you just add more springs , and unscrew a little ... Generally speaking , there should be 3 springs for a .009's gauge , and 4 springs for .010's .

Unless you really like the tone and playability of your .010's gauge , I'd say go back to the .009's .
