ive got a Fender Squire Strat and i thought it'd be cool to put in some replacement Seymour Duncan humbuckers. I want a heavy rock/metal sound and was wondering do you need to think about voltage and tech specs like that when installing humbuckers?? i dont want to get it wrong and blow them up or something......help please?!?!

No worries, just follow a good wiring diagram, ( which should come with your pick-ups ), make good solder joints, and you should have no problems, the worst that can happen is you plug in and you find out you've wired the switch backwards or you get no output, which is bad but doesn't compare to electrocution or explosion, sorry no free fireworks............
