Hard? Stu Hamm tackled the song on a 4-string bass, so it should be way easy on guitar... j/k, I know that a lot of that kind of music is hard to arrange for the guitar, mainly due to the fact that it wasn't written for the guitar. On piano, however, Sonata Pathetique, and most other Beethoven, is really simple (at least compared to Rachmaninov, Moszkowski, Listz, Czerny, etc.).

I can stumble through the first movement of Für Elise and some of the so-called "Moonlight Sonata" on guitar, but you want hard? Try some Bach counterpoint (I'm not talking about the easy ones like Bouree in Em...) or some Chopin Etudes or for incredible difficulty, try Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu on guitar. I tried for a couple days and I managed about a 3/4 speed two handed tapping version of the first 2 or 3 bars for the right hand, but there's no hope for me trying both the treble and bass at the same time.
