Ok so this is this weeks pointless thread:

I was riding in my pimped out sportscar (Volvo 850) listening
to my $20.000 Xplod sound system (cassette/radio) when I
heard the radio station playing a great song. I'd never heard
it before, but I didn't really listen to it either. I was in deep
trouble on the streets of Stockholm. Cars and dogs everywhere.
So when I got out of town, I suddenly realized "hey that was a
great song they played 20 minutes ago, what was it?".
I could remember the characteristic voice of Phil Lynott, and the
first 30 seconds of the song, but nothing more.
So I thought "Well I guess we just have to get that song when we
come home, won't we?". But, I have the memory of a goldfish, so
I of course forgot it. A week later (the day before yesterday),
I remembered it and thought I might download it.
Ok it was Thin Lizzy. But how did it go? hmmm.. Ok I know, if
I can remember some words from the lyrics, I can search for
them on Google. I couldn't remember a word.
So I searched for Thin Lizzy songs in general. I got 1000+ matches.
Pheeeew, what was it called? I had no idea, so I did the following:
I downloaded every song they'd ever made (including demos, live
versions, outtakes, whatnot).
I listened to them all. No match. I was very frustrated and turned
off the computer. But then eureka! I remembered two words!
So I searched for the two words and BINGO, there it was, the holy
grail, the object of my multiple hour search!
One problem though. The only one available had an ETA of 1 hour.
Oh well, now that I'd found it I wasn't ready to let it go.
So I started the download, and in the meantime I thought I might
just listen to all the other Lizzy-songs, now that I downloaded
them and all, and JAUZA!
I've always liked Thin Lizzy, I have a couple of songs which I enjoy
listening to, but now I encountered an endless tasty buffé of classic
Thin Lizzy songs, and I just couldn't get enough.
So now I'm a Thin Lizzy junkie, I just want more and more!
And to make things even better, there's been 2 Lizzy concerts on
TV during the last week.

That's the story of me and Thin Lizzy.

By the way, the song was "Get Out of Here", and it was definitely
worth all the hazzle.!

I'm sorry to have to move this, since it was an uplifting story, but I hope you find it again, mc9mm!
... and that's all I have to say about that.

ALL generalizations are WRONG
