I'm editing this cuz I put them in. First I put the V7 at the bridge, it sounded ok but the Jackson at neck was way muddy. Had to put trebble all the way up for it to sound ok so I switched them and its cool now :).
pickup question
I have a cheap kramer strat copy and a friend gave me an Ibanez V-7 pick up and a Jackson (no way to tell the model and he doesnt know) and I have a 2 humbucker pickguard for the guitar which pickup sould go in which position? Any help would be appreciated. I dont care for the sound it has with the 3 single coils so I'm trying for the fat strat thing.

Thanks for the update. The V7 and V8 are DiMarzio pickups made for Ibanez, but I couldn't get any info on which one goes in which position.
