Was working on some lyrics and the following kind flowed out, not fitting to what I was doin' but figured I'd share them because they seem kinda cool to me :)

Fallin' stars light up the night,
the angels sing beyond.
Eternally the embers burn,
can we bare the storm?

Tomorrow waits in shadowed gates,
another lesson to learn.
