Hell, it's not hard. Just take it one step at a time. The first chapter is mainly beginner stuff. Once you learn the first ten pages, the rest are easy cause they all use the same techniques.

If you want a good one to start on that sounds really difficult but is easy as hell to play try the 'MultiBar' tap. Once you have that one, you can transpose it to just about any key, and 99% of the other taps use concepts that you learn from just that one technique.

At the very least, learn the vasic Van Halen descending tap.

Just remember that tapping is like learning guitar all over again... you've gotta train your right hand the same way you trained your left so think of how difficult it was when you first started playing guitar and you'll get the idea.

And don't be afraid to use the hair braid thingy.... I have one on both my guitars and use em constantly even when I'm not tapping cause it cleans up the open strings and mutes em when you're not recording.
