My friend want to order this guitar, and therefore I wanted to ask you if anybody has this guitar or at least has heard it, and if itĀ“s worth, so that I can tell him.

The viper is a good sounding guitar for hard rock/heavy metal in my opinion, but what sounds good to one person may not to another. Pepper Keenan from Corrosion of Conformity plays 'em...Along with Max Cavalera from Sepultura/Soulfly....

It's all personal opinion....I like the viper's, but other's don't. The quality of the viper is good for the price. The best thing to do is visit a few music stores and try out as many guitar's in that price range as you can and just compare.

Esp make good guitars. I prefer ash bodies over mahogany but thats just a personal thing. If you know anyone with a Gibson SG standard with the EMG setup over Gibson's stock alnico setup it would be the same sound pretty much.
