This tutorial is an exercise to build strength, speed and precision and is great for playing against a
metronome. Start at about 120 bpm playing a note every beat and gradually speed up. When you finally
reach top speed on the metronome, go back to a slower setting you are comfortable with and play 2 or 3
or even 4 notes to every metronome beat. Remember start slow and be precise and don't touch that dial
until you are playing it perfectly.

The example I have given here uses the A major scale shown above. However, there is no reason why
these patterns and iterations (repeats) should not be applied to another scale like the harmonic or natural
minors or whatever takes your fancy, really.

The first set of tab is a basic two octave major scale

The second set of tab may be thought of as groups of two notes ascending in pitch

The third set of tab may be thought of as groups of two notes descending in pitch
