Don't change your right hand strumming technique at all for this. Just keep it going, and remember to keep it loose! Always keep those upbeats stronger than the downbeats.

However, you need to do more muting with your left hand. Use through thumb and extra fingers to mute any strings you are not playing on any stroke. Keep them from ringing! This is a valuable skill that you can apply to any style.
