British Invasion (Classic Rock Lead Showcase)
Description
We've got a classic rock lead showcase!
This one's in a 60s British Invasion style, influenced by The Beatles, The Kinks, and the Yardbirds. Get ready to learn an upbeat retro number with remnants of early rock 'n' roll: cheeky chromatic lines, slippery bands, and bluesy twists. You can expect some crunchy sophistication like a band tearing it up on a tiny TV stage.
The rhythm guitar adds jangling mod attitude with mop-top riffs and dominant seven sharp nine chords... while the leads cut through a snappy solo.
I'm playing a semi-hollow body electric guitar through a Vox style amp to give it a vintage clang. And for the lead, I've added a trouble booster because it needed a splash of rebellion.
Go grab your suit and tie... or you go-go boots, and let's dive on it!
