Hendrix Chord Voicing

Hey there and welcome to the Guitar Tricks Channel. My name is Anders and I'll be your host today. Before we get started, make sure you hit the subscribe button so you don't miss any of our future lessons. First let me start you off with a tip of the week:

My tip this week is to record yourself playing and listen back- even if it's just a basic voice memo. Be critical of what you need to do better, but also notice ways in which you have improved. Do this frequently as a part of your practicing and it'll do wonders for your playing.

In this lesson I'm going to show you one of the most useful chord voicings on electric guitar. The word “voicing” refers to how the notes of a certain chord can be laid out in different ways to achieve very different sounds.

If you like this lesson, then GT has a lot more that cover ideas on how to voice chords in creative and musical ways!
