Description
This is an idea built around E Dorian. It can be used in any mode or key. It is a great pattern to start with because it is so symmetrical - that makes it easy to "see" or "visualize" on the fretboard.
First is the scale pattern on the fretboard. Then, the particular exercise I play the pattern down in a sequence of 3's.
