Tapping - Bass Line and Melody

This is a tapping method I have used to play a simple root-fifth bass pattern with any melody that you make up. I used my left pointer finger to tap the root and my ring finger to tap the fifth. I tap mostly with my pointer finger of my right hand for the melody and use other fingers for playing faster notes. For this example I'll use the key of C#m. The progression will be C#m B A B. Below is a sample of what you can do with this style of playing. I tried to space the notes evenly so you can differentiate between lengths. I find it best to slide between notes that are close together. For this I would recomend a tempo of about 80bpm. This is a sample of what I've come up with. You can make this into 6/8 time by tapping the fifth twice, you can increase the tempo, and changing the chord progression and melody around is the most fun.
