Description
These are chromatic octaves made to help your fingers switch quickly (it\'s a left hand excercise). Practice them slow at first (40bpm), you must make sure your fingers get there before you pluck the strings, and also pluck the strings at the same time! Then later when you build the technique right, you can do them super fast. Remember, before you do them fast, you must have control so practice them slow for a week or two at least 15 minutes a day (I usually work on them for a 45 minutes but that\'s because I\'m a bit more advanced) and then go faster but remember to still work on them slow. This is also a good warm up excercise, they really work yoyur hand!
The letters next to the number signifies which finger to pluck the strings with. This can also be a good excercise for electric guitar if you play with a pick. If you have a guitar teacher, ask him or her about this to learn the technique better. Chances are if your teacher plays or has played classical, they probably have learned this. Remember, classical guitar is a discipline so you must practice everything right in order to improve. I\'m tabbing this from memory so it might be a little screwed up but I\'ll come back later and fix it and I\'ll also try to add sound. P=thumb i=index finger m=middle finger a=ring finger
