Description
A sequence is the mathmatical part of coming up with sweet lines. Like permutaion it invovles thinking in intervals instead of the actuall notes. It\'s just like jumbling the notes in wacky orders to create something unique. There are two types of sequences-\"intervallic\" and \"motivic\"- and two subdivisions of each: \"diatonic\", where each step of the sequence uses notes from a single scale, and \"parallel\", where each step of the sequence uses the same interval or motif without adjustment, the following examples are ALL \"diatonic\". Like intervallic cycles, sequences and their permutataions introduce all possibilities of melodic motion. Each sequence is shown horizontilly then laterally ,the type is listed below.
1. Diatonic seconds
2. Diatonic thirds
3. Diatonic fourths
4. Diatonic fifths
5. Diatonic sixths
6. Diatonic sevenths
7. Octaves
