Description

Bhargav Adhvaryu, The GORIMUS (Guitar ORIented MUSician)
From Ahmedabad, India

As the title suggests this is an exercise for simultaneously warming up the right and the left hand. Practicing this for about 2-3 minutes continuously would warm up both your hands. The playing pattern that I have on the sound file is D/G/A wherein each arpeggio is to be played twice. To get out of the monotony of the sound please change the sequence. REMEMBER!! DO NOT HOLD THE CHORD AS ONE DOES WHILE PLAYING RHYTHM. DOING SO DEFEATS THE ENTIRE PURPOSE OF THE EXERCISE. HIT EACH NOT SEPERATELY. I have used 140 bpm on the sound file. However you may start in a slow tempo and increase the speed as you feel comfortable.

NB: You may also try this exercise by fingering. Generally I use the thumb for 3rd and 4th string and the 3rd finger for 2nd string. However, you may try whatever is comfortable.
