I recently decided..\" why not play faster? \" Here is a trick you can do.

Alternate picking Only!!!!

First...pick a scale...any scale. Play it up and down until you can play it at moderate speed. When you can do that ...double the speed. Remember...start slowly.

There is an example at the bottom of how to play the scale after you\'ve followed and completed the directions above. I just picked a G major Ionian scale. The trick is to play a note, skip to the 2nd one after it and come back to the next note. Got a headache yet? Watch and learn.

This works with any scale.
