Moonlight Tapping

Description

Beethoven wrote a real good piece of music a long time ago, and he put it in his second movement of \"Moonlight Sonata\". Here is the horific intro in C# minor. You will neee to use right hand hammer-ons(often called \"tapping\"). The piece requires that you start the first two notes with your left hand and use multifinger tapping with the right hand for the last two notes of the four note phrases. Although the piece looks difficult to learn it is very patternized. All it is is an ascending C# minor appregio moving up one note every four notes. The rythym is as follows &///////////////////////////\\\\ where &=sixteenth note rest, /=sixteenth note, and \\=eighth note. The tempo is somwhat around half note=84 or quarter=168
You may have to practice each phrase alone and learn how to tap with two fingers on your right hand for the first time. Don\'t be discouraged. It can be done! Remember the phrasing! You rest on the first sixteenth note therefore the passage will sound like its dragging but that just adds to the tension of the two eigth notes at the end of the lick on count 4 of the second measure.
