Description
This is the kick-ass solo that Ry Cooder uses to defeat Steve Vai in the movie Crossroads. Its great for developing control and speed. Start slow. If youre a beginner or even intermediate I wouldnt recommend this trick to you at full speed. At the end, reach the 29th fret by pressing the high E string onto the pickup and plucking. The pitch it reaches will depend on what style pickup you have.
This is a great riff to practice and great for blowing your competitors out of the water. Have fun!
