Description
The first tab is an excellent piece form the Metallica song, "To Live is to Die." It's good for fingerpicking and all your friends will think you're a great guitar player because this sounds so damn good! I don't think this is exactly how it's played, but this is how I play and it sounds good to me.
Normally with fingerpicking, you use your thumb for the D {4th} string, A {5th} string, and low E {6th} string; index finger for the G {3rd} string, miiddle finger for the B {2nd} string, and ring finger for the high E {1st} string. I myself learned this when I was but a wee guitar player, and I only used my thumb and index finger to play this. The habit stuck with me and I still play it that way today.
