A big part of learning to play guitar consists of trying to get your fingers to do a number of things they have never tried before. Some things come very naturally and other things are much more difficult. As I've mentioned before, it's very important that you don't get angry at your fingers or yourself when they don't immediately do what you want them to. Instead I'm going to show you some exercises that you can use to get your hands and fingers more comfortable with these new challenges. These exercises aren't meant to sound great, but they can still be really fun to work on. Think of them like weightlifting or maybe even ballet-movements for your fingers.
