The rhythm guitar on the original recording is a six-string with all six strings tuned down a 4th. This tuning from low to high is B-E-A-D-F#-B. Rather than retuning though, I’ve arranged the guitars here to be played in standard tuning. For amp tone use a high gain setting for both electric guitars. If your amp doesn’t have an overdrive option, try using a distortion stomp box. Both guitars use humbucker pickups in the bridge position. The lead guitar solo uses a wah-wah pedal that manipulates the tone back and forth with a foot. For EQ set the treble at 2 o’clock, mid at 1 o’clock, and bass at 11’o’clock. These settings should get you pretty close to the desired tones on whatever gear you have.
