This song starts out with an acoustic guitar intro and once the band comes in you can really hear how the acoustic guitar is driving the rhythm. We're in the key of C for this song and the basic harmony of our intro uses C, F & G major chords.

Now that we know the basic harmony, we'll put our capo in the 3rd fret. Think of this as our barring finger, so now you know that our barre-chord would look like this, which means we need to play an A shape to get it to ring as a C chord.

The F chord, which is the IV-chord, will look like a D chord.

The G chord, which is the V-chord, will look like an E chord.

I'm going to refer to these chords either by their harmonic function (meaning I, IV and V) or by what they look like (meaning A, D and E), otherwise it gets too confusing.
