Guitar 1 is an acoustic guitar that strums throughout the song, while Guitar 2 is an electric that adapts the piano and horn riff. Any acoustic guitar is suitable to play this song, but one with a brighter tone will help to cut through the mix better. For Guitar 2, I’m using a Telecaster, but any electric guitar is suitable. I’ve selected the bridge pickup to give a clear, focused sound.

The electric parts played on this song can be played with any kind of tone of your choosing - clean or dirty. I’ve dialed in a light crunch tone - start out by setting the Preamp Gain to 45%, Bass to 50%, Mids to 60%, Treble to 50%, and Presence to 55%.
Add reverb to both guitars for depth.

Since we’re in standard tuning, I’m using regular light guage strings that are 10-46 along with a heavy pick.

For the acoustic I’m using a 11-52 string gage with a medium pick.
