I’m using a Telecaster with the bridge pickup for a bright, clear tone, but any guitar is suitable. Any acoustic guitar is suitable for this tutorial.

As far as amps go, any Fender style tube amp is a desirable choice. Set the amp for a light crunch sound. Set the Drive to 50%, Bass to 50%, Mid to 50%, Treble to 65%, and Presence to 65%.

For the solo, kick in an overdrive or boost pedal for more gain and sustain. A slide is also used in the second half of the solo. Add reverb to all guitars for depth.

I’m using 10-46 gage for the electric with a heavy pick. For the acoustic I’m using 11-52 string gage with a medium pick.

Here are the settings I used:

Fender Deluxe Model:
Drive: 50% Bass: 50% Mid: 50% Treb: 65% Presence: 65%
Tube Screamer:
Drive: 50% Tone: 55% Level: 60%
WetDryMIX: 40%
