Mike will show you the 2 guitars in this song. Guitar 1 is a rhythm electric guitar that lays down a steady strumming foundation for the tune. Guitar 2 is an acoustic guitar that adds an arpeggiated part to the verses.

The tune starts out with the main progression strummed with steady 8th notes. This progression is used for both the verse and chorus. There is also a bridge section that features a new progression and a cool unison line that adds a great contrast into the arrangement.

In the following lessons, we’ll talk about open and barre chords, arpeggiated motifs, and a steady 8th note strum. We are in the key of A major, with a 4/4 time signature, at a tempo of 120 BPM.
