The tip of the week is to break the rules to find new ideas! This is a great way to find new ideas for playing and writing. Often you might not find anything interesting. But if you keep experimenting you can sometimes come across something new and inspiring to use!
This week's lesson is how to take the basic open chords that we all start with when learning guitar and arpeggiate them to create a more interesting guitar part. The idea is to rhythmically separate each note to spread them out in time and create an interesting effect.'
If you like this lesson, then GT has a lot more that cover ideas on how to arpeggiate chords and spice up your rhythm guitar playing in the rock course!
I find it quite easy (so far!) to navigate, and found the "where do I start" to be very helpful! I'm getting there!!
I LOVE the forum, too. I've never been one to use forums, but the GT forum is full of great people and helpful information at ALL levels! Congrats on a WONDERFUL site!!Good job!
