I’m using a Les Paul electric guitar for this tune, but any guitar is suitable. For Guitar 1, select the neck pickup for a round, warm tone. Guitar 2 uses the bridge pickup’s bite and clarity for the leads.

As far as amps go, any Fender style tube amp is a desirable choice. Set the amp for a clean sound. Set the Drive to 25%, Bass to 45%, Mid to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 60%.

For Guitar 2, kick in an overdrive pedal for more gain and sustain. Guitar 2 also uses some additional EQ for a more distinct sound. Use an eq to push the frequencies around 850Hz to approximate this. Add a little reverb for depth.

I’m using 10-46 gage with a heavy pick to dig into these rhythms and leads.

Here are the settings I used:
Fender Deluxe Model:
Drive: 25% Bass: 45% Mid: 55% Treb: 60% Presence: 60%
Tube Screamer (Guitar 2):
Drive: 55% Tone: 55%
EQ (Guitar 2): +4db at 850Hz
Spring Reverb:
WetDryMIX: 20%
