Mike will show you the 2 gritty, slightly overdriven electric guitars in this song. Guitar 1 is the rhythm guitar that plays some steady riffs and chords throughout. Guitar 2 is the lead guitar that digs into a rowdy solo and some killer fills along the way.

The tune opens with a short lead guitar bend that launches right into the driving verse groove. There’s only an E chord riff played here but the lead guitar occasionally adds a bend or quick lick in between the vocals. The chorus features a call and response descending guitar line between the vocals, while Guitar 1 digs into a quick changing chord progression. There’s also a raw and aggressive solo to dig into as well!

In the following lessons, we’ll talk about power chords and 7th chords, octaves, and some aggressive early rock lead approaches. We are in the key of E major, with a 4/4 time signature, at a tempo of 197 BPM.
